Pre-surgery
instructive
If your
intervention is with general anesthesia or sedation, don't ingest any
food at least 6 hours prior to your appointment. You should not drink
water. You don't need to smoke. Relax somehow: listen to music, read,
or go for a walk, etc. If you want to work, do it. Don't alter your
habits and consider the date like a normal day.
When
going to the clinic, announce yourself at the reception desk so that
they can register your entrance. Fill out the sheet of data that they
will give you in the clinic, and fill out the respective
authorizations. You must always come with somebody you trust.
Hygiene
is fundamental. Carry it to an extreme that day. Take a shower and
wash your hair. Don't forget to remove all makeup from your body
including eye shadow, nail polish, etc. Also remove all non-necessary
objects such as rings, pendants, hairpins, and your dentures - if they
are mobile.
Wear
light underwear that doesn't oppress you and preferably is made of
cotton.
I will
enjoy talking with you on the last details, whether in your room or in
the surgical room, whichever atmosphere is more comfortable and
appropriate for you.
Your
intervention will be planned ahead of time. The attention we give you,
both human as well as instrumental, will be complete - moment to
moment. Relax - you’re in good hands.
We will
come to visit you after the surgical session - the total honorarium:
surgeon, aesthetician, instrumentalists, assistants and prosthesis (if
we have used them). Likewise, the general expenses of clinic (surgical
room, clinical material, cost of day in clinic, etc) will be passed on
to you when you leave the center. Before going out you will be
notified of the place, day and the dates of your next appointment with
us.
The post-operative development will be
carried out in the clinic where we can supervise you. My most trusted
people, with whom I comment daily regarding each case and establish
guidelines, will conduct the treatments.
In a
final visit we will discharge you from the hospital.
We are
completely at your disposal.
Until
very soon.
